MARK JAIMES

Mark Jaimes is a London based session musician with a long and varied career. He started playing guitar at age 5 and did his first gig age 9. After several record contracts playing in soul bands, he decided to pursue a career as a session musician and became the resident guitarist for David Dundas Music, playing on many high profile jingles for TV and film. He toured with various artists until ’98 when after a recording session with Simply Red, was asked to join the band. Mark toured and recorded with Simply Red for 5 years until 2003, then embarked on a career as a producer with longtime friend and musician Danny Saxon. He produced hits for various artists including Simply Red and Luciano Pavarotti, and is currently working with legendary songwriter Rod Temperton. Mark is also a regular on the smooth jazz scene, having played with Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, Peter White, Rick Braun, Richard Elliott, Chuck Loeb, Euge Groove, Mindi Abair and many more.
